1. Who operates this site

Pulsarun (pulsarun.com) is operated by Willow Clarke, a private individual based at 32 Eyre Hwy, Wudinna SA 5652, Australia. There is no company, trust or partnership behind this site. Willow Clarke is personally responsible for the handling of personal information described in this policy and can be reached at [email protected] or +61 429 802 312.

2. Scope of this policy

This policy explains what personal information Pulsarun handles when you visit the site or play Wolf Gold: Totem Hunt, why, and what rights you have under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).

3. What we collect

Pulsarun has no accounts, no leaderboards, no comment section, no newsletter and no contact form. The game does not send your scores or gameplay anywhere. The only personal information Pulsarun handles is: (a) standard technical data your browser sends when it requests a page, such as IP address, user-agent string, referring page, requested URL and timestamp; and (b) if you choose to email us, whatever you include in that message, such as your email address and name.

4. Game records stay on your device

Your best score, best distance, top multiplier, number of runs and sound setting are saved in your browser's local storage under the key pulsarun_wolfgold. This data never leaves your device, is never sent to us, and is not linked to your identity. You can delete it at any time by clearing site data for pulsarun.com in your browser.

5. Why we handle technical data (APP 3 and APP 6)

We only handle information reasonably necessary to run and secure the site: technical logs are used to deliver pages, detect abuse and keep the site available. We do not use or disclose this information for any other purpose. We do not sell it, profile visitors with it, or use it for marketing.

6. Cookies and local storage

Pulsarun does not set analytics or advertising cookies. The site uses two local storage entries: one that remembers your answer to the cookie notice, and one that holds your game records. Full detail is in the Cookie Notice.

7. Cloudflare as our technical processor

This site is delivered through Cloudflare, Inc., which acts as our content delivery network. Cloudflare may run a first-party performance measurement that reports page-load metrics such as Core Web Vitals, browser type and country, without setting a cookie. Cloudflare processes the technical data in section 3(a) on our behalf under its own data processing terms.

8. Overseas disclosure (APP 8)

Because Cloudflare operates a global network, technical data may be processed on servers outside Australia, including in the United States. We rely on Cloudflare's data processing and security commitments as reasonable steps to protect this information while it is handled overseas.

9. How long we keep information

Pulsarun does not keep its own archive of visitor logs. Technical data is retained by our hosting provider and Cloudflare only as long as operationally necessary, typically a matter of weeks. Emails you send us are kept only as long as needed to deal with the matter raised.

10. Children

The game is suitable for general audiences and asks nobody for personal information. Because there are no accounts or forms, we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children, beyond the automatic technical data described above.

11. Your rights (APP 12 and APP 13)

You may ask what personal information we hold about you and ask us to correct it. As we hold almost nothing beyond short-lived technical logs and any email you send, most requests are settled by deleting an email exchange. Contact us at the address in section 1; we will respond within a reasonable time and will not charge for a straightforward request.

13. Security

The site is served only over HTTPS. We deliberately collect as little personal information as possible, with no accounts, no forms and no payment details, so that there is very little to protect in the first place.

14. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes to the site or to Australian privacy law. The version in effect is always the one published at this address, and the date below shows when it last changed.
